We are recruiting for a Internal Sales/Customer service person for our client located in the Kidderminster area. Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of construction profiles in Europe.
Working from our UK site located in Kidderminster, we are looking for an office based individual to support, maintain and develop, a regional customer base of Contractors and end-users.
·First point of internal contact for all customer queries
·Processing orders through the OPERA (SAP type) system.
·Ongoing proactive customer contact, (following up on quotations, discussing products, requirements etc)
·Developing new business by contact with lapsed and new potential Customers.
·Liaising with other departments to check, stock, deliveries etc and when necessary, helping resolve customer supply issues.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is commercially aware and is able to manage their own workload while recognising and maximising opportunities when speaking with customers.
Experience in a sales support, sales administration/customer services role is an advantage, as is experience or familiarity with building products, construction materials, or a technical/manufactured product.
Office based skills including EXCEL, MS Office, and Outlook would be expected.
Hours of work: 08.00am – 16.30pm or 08.30am – 17.00pm – Lunch 1 hour
